Situated near Avenue of the Stars, Stage 17 was constructed in 1966 and has since been a cornerstone for memorable productions. This versatile stage has hosted films such as Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971), the cult favorite Big Trouble in Little China (1986), and the superhero epic X-Men: First Class (2011). On the television front, Stage 17 was home to The Tracey Ullman Show (1987–1990), which helped launch a new era of comedy, and the irreverent It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2009–2017).
