News Café is officially back open, bringing a refreshed space, favorite menu offerings, and another convenient dining option back to the Fox Studio Lot.

Across the Fox Studio Lot, employees and guests have access to five dining locations, with options ranging from quick grab-and-go meals to sit-down dining and full-service experiences. Whether someone is looking for breakfast, lunch, coffee, a fresh salad, a daily special, or a place to meet with colleagues, there is always something available nearby.

News Café is one of those go-to destinations — and now it is ready to welcome everyone back.

A Refreshed News Café Experience

The updated News Café offers a fresh look while continuing to serve the menu items people know and enjoy. Guests can stop by for daily pizzas, rotisserie offerings, a sandwich station, grab-and-go options, and a newly expanded salad bar.

According to Paul Werner, Senior Vice President of Special Events, Food Services, and Studio Store, News Café stands out because of its variety.

The café also continues to offer convenient favorites, including sandwiches, salads, pizza, and sushi on Tuesdays.

Five Dining Locations on the Fox Studio Lot

Food services on the Fox Studio Lot are designed to meet people where they are in the day — whether they have time for a full meal or need something fast between meetings.

The five dining locations each offer a distinct experience:

• News Café – Pizza, rotisserie, sandwiches, grab-and-go options, an expanded salad bar, and Blue Stone Lane coffee and food offerings.
• Moe’s Café – A sports-bar-style setting with breakfast made to order, salad bar, sandwich counter, grill, juice, açaí bowls, and grab-and-go options.
• Commissary Grill – A classic cafeteria-style option with breakfast, salad bar, lunch, sandwich station, grill, grab-and-go items, and everyday hot-line specials.
• Commissary Dining Room – A full-service, à la carte dining experience with table service, seasonal specials, and a historic setting.
• Blue Stone Lane at News Café – Coffee, smoothies, avocado toast, salmon toast, berry toast, and specialty food offerings available only at this location.

Paul said the goal is to offer variety for everyone on the lot.

Daily Specials and Seasonal Offerings

One thing guests can count on across the dining locations is variety. Each outlet offers daily specials, with menus that shift based on the day, the season, and available ingredients.

The team also looks for opportunities to feature seasonal Southern California produce and support local businesses through baked goods, breads, wines, and fresh ingredients.

That focus on choice is especially important on a busy studio lot, where Paul’s team may serve approximately 1,300 to 1,500 meals in a typical day — before adding special events.
